A few of my favorite primary bedroom designs

1. Earth Tones, Crown Molding and a Lovely Tray Ceiling

If you like earth tone interior design, you'll love this primary bedroom with soft mustard yellow walls and ceiling contrasted nicely with white trim. The color scheme is consistent with light tan carpeting, the dark wood-framed bed along with dark wood nightstands and dresser.

2. Loft Primary Bedroom (Urban Style)

Spacious white and light gray loft primary bedroom with large black-framed window, platform bed and cool modern desk all on white wood flooring.

3. Scandinavian Style Primary Bedroom

What an absolutely gorgeous Scandinavian primary bedroom with simple platform bed, distressed white/light brown closet doors, birch wood flooring, off-shite armchair and distressed nightstands. Two large windows emit plenty of natural light. Notice the white-washed wood ceiling as well… lots of white, but all the natural wood makes it look amazing.

Here's a modern bedroom design with chandelier, wood flooring, and adjacent office. I love the white ceiling with a black outline pattern.

5. Large Beach Style with TV, Gorgeous Curtains and Small Sitting Area

This large white primary bedroom is casual with wide-board flooring, distressed dresser/TV stand but then there's the elegant drapes and glamorous blue armchairs that add some dynamism to this awesome space.

6. Small Primary Bedroom with Black Accent Wall and Wood Bench

This is one of my all-time favorite small primary bedroom designs. It barely fits the bed and two small dresser nightstands, but the clever decor elements make it seem much bigger such as the black accent wall framed with white trim (gives it depth), the wall-mounted lamps, the patterned area rug, and large lean-to mirror. Brilliant ideas for a small primary bedroom.

7. Traditional Primary Bedroom with River Rock Fireplace

Plain decor with the river rock fireplace being the centerpiece is what this farmhouse style primary bedroom is all about.

8. Transitional Style with Light Tan Walls, Fireplace and Beautiful Reading Chair Area

I'm a nut about transitional interior design. This bedroom hammers my love for this style home. It's simple, but there are touches of pure elegance and rusticism. Check out the black round ottoman with gold band (elegant glam) under the textured wood fireplace mantle. Talk about interesting contrast, but it works beautifully. These contrasts are what transitional is all about.

9. Mediterranean Style Primary Bedroom Suite with Fireplace, Adjacent Sitting Room and Piano

I'm not too keen about the Mediterranean style but I can see why people love it. This large primary bedroom suite has earth tones throughout with arched doorways with loads of space … enough to accommodate a piano.

10. Contemporary Primary Bedroom with Exposed Beam Ceiling, Fireplace, and Balcony

Incredible primary bedroom in bungalow style with the exposed wood-beamed ceiling (angled in shed style ceiling) with angled floor-to-ceiling windows and glass door leading to a balcony with an incredible view.

Blue beach style primary with a fabulous white bed and balcony. It's in a suburban home which works, but imagine this overlooking the beach… now that would be perfection.
